Programme Delivery That Actually Delivers
Your transformation is stuck. Your board is asking questions. Your team is stretched. We have been in your chair, and we know how to fix it.
Sound Familiar?
The programme that was supposed to take 12 months is now at 18, and counting. Your vendor swears everything is on track, but nothing ships. Your engineers are in steering committees instead of building. And the honest answer to "are we going to hit the date?" is: you don't know.
The Accidental Programme Owner
A technical leader running a major transformation with no PMO support, no programme management experience, and no time. Your engineers are doing project admin instead of engineering. You need a senior pair of hands who has done this before.
The Rescue Situation
A programme that is genuinely in trouble. Missed milestones, vendor disputes, board losing confidence. Someone needs to walk in, get the truth, and turn it around — fast.
The Portfolio Chaos
Multiple programmes running across the organisation, competing for the same people and budget. No single view of what is actually happening. A PMO that exists on paper but does not add value.
If any of the above strikes a chord, let's have a conversation.
How We Help
We are not a bodyshop. We are not a big consultancy that sends you graduates with frameworks. We are senior practitioners who have delivered complex programmes at Lloyds, Yorkshire Building Society, AstraZeneca, VetPartners, and more — and we take ownership of outcomes, not just hours.
90-Day Programme Turnaround
For programmes that are already in trouble.
We conduct an honest assessment of where you actually are — not where the status reports say you are. We identify the real blockers: governance gaps, vendor issues, resource constraints, unclear accountability. Then we build a recovery plan and work alongside your team to execute it.
What you get: A programme that is back under control, with credible reporting your board can trust — within 90 days.
Fractional Delivery Director
Board-level delivery leadership, without the permanent hire.
You get a senior programme director on a monthly retainer covering governance, board reporting, and strategic oversight — with additional delivery days as your programme requires. Someone who has run £15m+ portfolios and knows how to manage vendors, boards, and complex stakeholder landscapes. We embed with your team, run your critical programmes, and give you the delivery leadership you need while you build internal capability.
What you get: Your engineers back to engineering. Board updates they can trust. Programmes that actually deliver.
Portfolio Governance Build-Out
For organisations with no single view of what is happening.
We design and implement governance that actually works. Not a PowerPoint factory — a function that provides genuine visibility, manages resource conflicts, and enables better decisions. Stage gates, portfolio reporting, dependency management, and clear escalation paths. Then we transfer the capability to your team so it sustains after we leave.
What you get: Governance that gives you visibility, not just another layer. Your team runs it. We are not in the picture.
Every engagement is designed to transfer capability and leave your organisation stronger. We are not interested in creating dependency.
Technology & Growth
Beyond our core delivery practice, LinLex builds and operates technology-enabled growth systems. We apply the same rigour we bring to programme delivery to help clients build commercial pipeline and AI-native operations.
01
AI-Enabled Outreach
We build and operate AI-powered B2B outreach systems — from prospect research and contact enrichment through to personalised multi-touch email cadences. Grounded in proven sales methodology and delivered at scale.
02
AI Development
Custom AI agents, workflow automation, and AI-native tooling built on the latest models. From internal productivity tools to client-facing products, we design and ship production-grade AI systems — no proof-of-concept theatre.
03
Sales Generation
End-to-end pipeline development: ICP definition, prospect database build, outreach sequencing, and conversion support. We combine proven sales methodology with automation to generate qualified meetings at a fraction of traditional agency cost.
Three Steps. No Theatre.
Every engagement follows the same principle: get in, fix the problem, transfer the capability, get out.
Weeks 1-2
Diagnose
An honest assessment of your programme — not the version in the status reports. We talk to your team, review the governance, map the dependencies, and tell you exactly where you stand. No sugar-coating.
Weeks 3-12+
Deliver
We embed alongside your team and get to work. Fix the governance, unblock the delivery, manage the vendors, and give your board reporting they can actually trust. You stay focused on your job.
Built in from Day One
Depart
We transfer everything to your team: processes, governance cadences, reporting frameworks, and vendor management rhythms. When we leave, your organisation is stronger than when we arrived. That is the point.
We Have Done This Before
Five case studies. Five different sectors. One consistent outcome: programmes that were stuck, restored to delivery.
The Challenge
Dual-programme portfolio (£6m IT Harmonisation and the European portion of a £16m PMS Consolidation) across 10+ countries and 1,000+ sites. Inherited red-rated, executive confidence diminished, delivery fragmented across multiple jurisdictions.
What We Did
Re-baselined scope, governance, and RAID control. Expanded PMS consolidation from two markets to the full European estate. Standardised the Microsoft estate. Integrated M&A technology due diligence while maintaining CMA compliance throughout.
The Result
Programme restored to green in 3 weeks. Platforms reduced from ~50 to 18. Approximately £1m annual licensing reduction delivered. Zero regulatory findings.
The Challenge
No formal approval for the entire IT Change Programme — all work stalled, including Network, Cyber, and Operational Resilience. The resilience transformation had been rejected by the Executive Committee three times.
What We Did
Built an IT Programme of Change from ground zero, operational and delivering within 21 days. Reset the governance and delivery narrative on the rejected transformation. Drove Network Refresh and Cyber Security uplift simultaneously. Navigated the most complex contract negotiation in the bank's history.
The Result
Executive Committee approval secured on first resubmission. High-risk cyber vulnerabilities eliminated. ExCo reporting framework delivering weekly decision-grade intelligence.
The Challenge
530 branches needed new SDWAN circuits before the incumbent supplier ceased service. The project had been stuck in approvals for 24 months. Then the pandemic hit.
What We Did
Took full programme ownership. Ran the RFP for a new circuit supplier. Onboarded legal partners for wayleaves on 530 leasehold properties. Designed a factory process for comms rack replacements. Managed delivery through two national lockdowns.
The Result
530 sites migrated. On time. On budget.
The Challenge
Nearly 100 infrastructure projects in the pipeline, ranging from £10k software installs to £1m+ LAN refreshes and DR solutions. Fast-moving environment with constantly shifting priorities.
What We Did
Ran the entire infrastructure programme. Managed business cases and change requests. Led vendor tender exercises for Splunk, Zerto, Darktrace, and Cisco UCS. Matrix-managed resources across teams and third parties.
The Result
~100 projects delivered. New DRaaS solution implemented. Recommended improvements that drove further ROI.
The Challenge
Major pharmaceutical company migrating datacentres across North America, Europe, and Asia simultaneously. Complex dependencies. High regulatory stakes. Zero tolerance for downtime.
What We Did
Set up and ran the Global Command Centre coordinating migrations across three continents. Developed the processes and procedures. Led the turnaround team stress-testing new ways of working before go-live.
The Result
Successful migration across all three continents. BCS Award winner: Network / Infrastructure Project of the Year.
Sectors We Operate In
Not a Big Consultancy. Not a Bodyshop.
Big consultancies send you graduates with frameworks. Bodyshops send you warm bodies without accountability. We send you a senior practitioner who takes ownership, fixes the problem, transfers the capability, and leaves.
That is a fundamentally different model — and it produces fundamentally different outcomes.

Senior-Led. Outcome-Focused. Built to Exit.
LinLex is a senior-led consultancy operating a curated network of experienced delivery practitioners. Every engagement is led by a principal with 25+ years of hands-on programme delivery experience. We bring in specialist associates where the complexity demands it — always senior, always accountable.
Principal-Led on Every Engagement
You do not get juniors once the contract is signed. The same senior practitioner who scopes your engagement leads it from day one.
Curated Associate Network
For complex, multi-workstream programmes we bring in specialist associates — each with deep domain expertise and a track record at board level.
Selective Capacity — By Design
We take on a maximum of 3 new engagements per quarter. Every client gets genuine attention, not a junior team left to manage themselves.
Capability Transfer Built In
From day one, we are working toward making ourselves unnecessary. Your team learns as the programme delivers. The exit plan is part of the contract.
Senior Practitioners. Real Ownership. No Delegation.
Every LinLex engagement is led by a practitioner who has held the role you need filled. Not a project manager who has read the theory — someone who has stood in front of an executive committee with an uncomfortable programme update and brought it back from the brink.

PE-backed integration and platform consolidation
Before LinLex, our practitioners held senior delivery roles across regulated financial services, PE-backed businesses, and FTSE-listed organisations. We have delivered through regulatory scrutiny, organisational mergers, pandemic lockdowns, and board-level crises.
We have navigated complex contract negotiations, managed portfolios with over £22m in programme spend, and stood in front of executive committees with the uncomfortable truth when no one else would. That experience is what you get — not a junior team working from a methodology handbook.
LinLex was built to offer a better model: senior practitioners embedded to fix the problem, with capability transfer wired in from day one. We are not interested in building dependency. Every engagement ends with your team stronger than when we arrived.
Principal-led, always
The person you hired does the work. No hand-off to someone junior once the contract is signed.
Capability transfer built in
We build your team's competence from day one. You should not need us again for the same problem.
Selective by design
Maximum three new engagements per quarter. Your programme gets genuine senior attention — not a team managing themselves.

Before You Ask
Let's Talk
If your programme needs senior delivery leadership — whether that is a rescue, ongoing support, or building proper governance — we should have a conversation. No sales pitching, no obligation. An honest discussion about where you are, what is getting in the way, and whether we can help.
